Marcelino's strategy for the Cup first leg against Valencia.

"For me, nothing changes by playing a two-legged game. We have to go out and win", says the Athletic coach about this Thursday's appointment in San Mamés

Marcelino will plan the match against Valencia as if it were his last. The Athletic coach does not change his planning the fact that this Cup semifinal tie is already played in a double round, this Thursday at San Mamés (9:30 p.m.) and on March 2 at Mestalla (9:00 p.m.). “Nothing changes for me, we played the first game and we have to go out and win. And in the second, nothing changes either,” he points out.
The Spaniard wants to take advantage of the fact of playing the first leg in front of his fans. The field can already accommodate 85% of its capacity, with which around 45,000 spectators are expected in support of their team. “We play in San Mamés, they already allow us to have a little more public. I suppose there will be a sellout and our intention is to go out and win”, he added.
